In July 24, 2018 a regular Working Group meeting on urgent issues of the temporarily occupied territory in Crimea under the leadership of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Borys Babin took place in the Kalanchak District State Administration

The participants of the meeting were the authorities of three District State Administrations, of the National Police, of the Security Service of Ukraine, of the Prosecutor’s Office, the Heads of the structural subdivisions of Kherson Regional State Administration, the representatives of the territorial executive and self-governmental bodies and other officials.

The participants of the meeting discussed their interaction on the establishment of the departments of the Azov-Black Sea Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, of the Main Directorate of SSU in ARC and of the Main Directorate of National Police in ARC and Sevastopol in the districts, adjacent to Crimea. The necessity of comprehensive response to the activity and efforts of the occupying authorities in water and electricity supply to Crimea was discussed.

The equipment of the checkpoints “Kalanchak” and “Chongar”, the situation of land-use for the checkpoints, the establishment of legal passenger transportation to/from the check point “Kalanchak” (bus transport) and railway station “Vadim”, the prospects of Administrative Service Centers establishment in the villages of Kalanchak and Novotroitske were the list of issues to be raised at the meeting.
