On the 04th day of April, 2017 in Kherson the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Nataliia Popovych met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont.
During the meeting the parties discussed a situation on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
First of all, the point of issue was about violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms on the Crimean Peninsula by the occupying authorities.
The interlocutors paid much attention to the issue of internally displaced people. The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea stressed the importance of the continuation of state policy, which is aimed at helping people who move from the temporarily occupied territory to the mainland Ukraine to adapt to new realities.
During the meeting, Nataliia Popovych familiarized Mrs. Isabelle Dumont with the work of the Representative Office and expressed gratitude to the French side for the overall support of Ukraine concerning the intentions of the European development, peace-making and restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
