On February 27th 2018 the Permanent Representative Of ARC Borys Babin and the representatives of International Relations and Legal Analysis Departments of the Mission have participated in the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Foreign Affairs, the purpose of which is to adopt the draft decree about Verkhovna Rada apply to International Community about holding illegal presidential elections on the temporarily occupied territory Ukraine in ARC .and Sevastopol
The meeting involved representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons, the Assistant of People’s Deputy of Ukraine Burbak M. During the meeting, there was analyzed the text of the draft and were proposed amendments to it by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the People’s Deputy Refat Chubarov, representatives of the Mission and prosecutor’s office.
Besides, during the meeting, all representatives expressed and argued their comments to the specified project. The meeting resulted in providing the full text of the Draft Decree for further submitting it in regular plenary meeting of Verkhovna Rada.
