The Police of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea will be working on the line of demarcation with occupied Crimea, whose activities will be organized on the basis of the experience of the police of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This was reported by the first deputy head of the National Police Viacheslav Abroskin during his working visit to Mariupol on the 15th day of December.
By the order of the head of the National Police of Ukraine Serhii Kniazev, a meeting was held at the Regional Central Administration of Donetsk City Police, in which the heads of the main departments of the National Police in Donetsk region and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as leading IT specialists of the Police of Donetsk region took part.
The heads exchanged experience in organizing the work of police units located on the border with the occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, police officers of Donetsk region presented a system of checkpoints based on intelligent technologies. This allows a large number of people and vehicles to check in a short time, and the checking time is minimized to few seconds.
The first deputy head of the National Police, Viacheslav Abroskin, said that a similar set of preventive actions is planned to be implemented on the border with temporarily occupied Crimea.
“We must work to detect terrorists and other persons entering the territory of Ukraine for committing crimes” – emphasized Viacheslav Abroskin. A working group has been set up to develop and implement a security system on the line of demarcation with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
