Sergiy Knyazev, the Head of National Police of Ukraine on the 15th of June 2018 inspected the work of a new police unit, situated in Kalanchak district, Kherson region not far from the check point “Kalanchak”
. In his address to the personnel of the unit Sergiy Knyazev pointed the following: “ What do we want of you! We want the people, the Ukrainians, crossing the administrative boundary line, come to you and tell you what is there good and what is there bad, how are their Civil Rights violated and you to document their information carefully and thoroughly”.
The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin thanked the authorities of the National Police for their support in the implementation of the Mandate of the President of Ukraine on Crimean issues, for the operative dislocation of the Main Directorate of the National Police units to Kherson Region, as to the territory, adjacent to Crimea.
Borys Babin assured the Patrol Police personnel that the Mission would do all possible to concentrate the law enforcement bodies on Crimean issues in the territories adjacent to the peninsula and pointed that all proposals, given by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and by other governmental bodies were included to the Plan of Urgent Measures on Counteraction to Russian Aggression from the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine in Crimea, on Protection of Interests of the State, of Ukrainian Citizens and of Ukrainian Legal Persons in Crimea for the period of 2018-2019, to be adopted soon.
