In August, 72018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the officials of the Departments of Legal analysis and International Connections took part in the working meeting on implementation of the project “Launching of the advocacy movement and solidarity of the IDPs ( Crimean Tatars) by using modern educational technologies and ICT” to be implemented by the Crimean Tatars’ Resource Center (CTRC) together with the number of governmental authorities by support of the Estonian Government and Estonian Institute of Human Rights.
The participants of the working meeting were the First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova, the members of Mejlis of Crimean Tatars People Riza Shevkiev and Eskander Bariev, the head of the CTRC, the expert of the Estonian Institute of Human Rights Oliver Loode and representatives of the MFA of Ukraine.
The Project was aimed to establishment of the public initiatives system and its implementation as a unified platform #LiberateCrimea in the civilized countries of the world. The participants discussed the modality of this platform, the ways of involvement of the volunteers from different countries, and a draft schedule of the activities for the project.
“The framework of the project supposes the implementation of the tasks of the Plan of urgent measures in counteraction of Russian aggression from the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea for 2018-2019 and such public initiatives are very important for the realization of the concept “Friends of De-occupation of Crimea”, imposed by the President of Ukraine” – pointed out Boris Babin.
