At the meeting, Anton Korynevych focused on interaction with UN agencies, particularly the involvement its mechanisms to response the situation with human rights violations. In addition, it was stressed on improving a new updated resolution “Situation with Human Rights in the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Ukraine)”.
The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea Anton Korynevych told about the ways, made by Ukraine to support ties with the residents of the occupied territories, including legislative amendments regarding birth and death registration for residents of the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula and housing programs for IDPs. In addition, the importance of introducing transitional justice approaches in Ukraine was also discussed.
Humanitarian crises, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in
the temporarily occupied Crimea was among the issues, discussed during the meeting.
