The expense of the grant is EUR 25.5 million, provided by the Credit Institute for Reconstruction (KFW).
The realization of the procedure will establish the opportunity for internally displaced persons to obtain preferential loans for housing in the amount of approximately EUR 40,000 for up to 20 years under preferential terms – 3% per annum at a rate of 63 sq.m. of total area per family, based on the normative housing area, which is 21 sq.m. of total area per person and additional 10.5 sq.m. per family.
A separate queue will also be formed on the basis of existing registers maintained by the State Fund for Support of Youth Housing Construction and its regional offices. According to the Procedure an apartment will be in an apartment building or a single-family house are considered credit-worthy. The project plans to provide housing for approximately 680 families or 1,768 internally displaced persons in 2021-2022.
To ensure fair participation, the selection of winners from among candidates who will be in the newly created queue is random, which is carried out using a random number generator with the use of software that meets the requirements of the legislation on protection of personal data.
