The press service of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea informs about the current situation on the temporarily occupied peninsula, challenges caused by the occupation of Crimea, as well as about the implementation of the tasks assigned to the Mission. The press service actively counteracts hostile disinformation and debunks Russian misinformation about Ukrainian Crimea, disseminates its own and partner’s information and educational materials. The press service also contacts Ukrainian and foreign media to keep the topic of the temporarily occupied Crimea in the center of attention of the international community.

The European Court of Human Rights invited the Government of Ukraine to intervene in the case concerning the eviction of the Crimean diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to Crimea. The court also ruled that the Russian authorities must submit their objections to the Court untill 5 January 2021. The Office of the Diocese, as the complainant, will then have the opportunity to comment on the case. The lawyer Sergei Zayats representing the interests of the Crimean Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church said.
