On 13 September 2018 the official of the Mission`s Department on Reintegration and De-occupation of ARC participated in the forum “Academy of the Intercultural Dialogue”, held in Melitopol. The forum was dedicated to the unity and mutual understanding among the nationalities in the multinational world. Among the guests were the Head of Melitopol City Council Sergiy Minko, his Deputy Svitlana Boyko, Council of Europe`s National Program Coordinator “Intercultural Cities” Ksenia Khovanova-Rubikondo, an expert of Council of Europe`s Program “Intercultural Cities” Eva Khilinsky, the Head of Greek Communities of Ukraine, Vice-coordinator of Fifth Periphery of Greek Foreign Council Olexandra Protsenko-Pichadgy, the First Deputy Head of National Communities in Ukraine Emir Valeev, the member of Presidium of the National Communities` Council of Ukraine Tetyana Lukyanova, the Head of Melitopol City Council Department of Culture Mykhailo Semikin, Rector of Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after B. Khmelnytsky Anatoliy Solonenko, advisor of the Head of Melitipol City Council on intercultural city integration Ludmyla Afanasieva, as well as the heads of non-governmental organizations, representing national minorities and indigenous people of Ukraine. Addressing to the audience Sergiy Skrypnyk briefed the participants on the activity of the Mission, particularly on facilitating of the Indigenous Peoples’ and National Minorities’ Rights exercising in Crimea. He pointed out that the Mission is open to dialogue and interaction to ensure the ethnic rights of citizens, residing in the temporarily occupied Crimea or those, who replaced from the peninsula.
