On June 23, 2021, the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych took part in the international online conference “Crimea is Ukraine”, organized by the Islamabad Institute of Conflicts Resolution (IICR) with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Embassy of Ukraine to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Event’s speakers were the First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Anton Korynevych, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Markiian Chuchuk, activist of the Crimean Solidarity organization, Lutfie Zudieva.
Anton Korynevych during the presentation of the Strategy for Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol acquainted the audience with a number of steps taken by Ukraine, aimed at reintegration and de-occupation of the temporarily occupied Crimea, in particular, the expected consequences of the implementation of the steps of such a strategic document were outlined.
Emine Dzhaparova presented to the foreign audience the concept of the Crimean Platform and acquainted with the situation on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, which consists in increasing militarization and violations of international humanitarian law.
Lutfie Zudieva spoke about the numerous facts of human rights violations in the occupied Crimea, in particular, arbitrary arrests, detention and persecution of Crimean Tatars by the occupying power of the Russian Federation.
