On 17 September 2018 the Head of the Department of the International Connections of the Mission Yevhen Samuha took part in the 7th Euro Atlantic Forum, held by the support of the Institute for Euro Atlantic Cooperation and the Conrad Adenauer Stiftung in Ukraine The participants of the Forum were Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze Vice-Prime-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Hanna Hopko, the Head the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Affairs, Roman Vashchuk, Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine, other Ukrainian politics and foreign diplomats, political and military experts, representatives of civil society of our country.
The duty to consolidate the national society and the governments of European countries during the time of trans-Atlantic instability and cooperation between the state-members of EU and NATO on the one side and Ukraine – from the other one was discussed. The Euro Atlantic priority of our State and the Western integration in the context of reforming in Ukraine was determined along with political and military responses of Alliance to the calls of RF within the hybrid war.
“The effective counteraction of the Russian aggression against Ukraine and the attempts of Kremlin to destabilize the situation in EU and the USA is possibly through the concerned efforts of International Community”, was noted. The Crimean issues and the solutions for them highlighted in many reports and discussions.
