Permanent Representative Olha Kuryshko held a working meeting with the Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Nariman Suleimanov. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Permanent Representative Denys Chystikov and First Deputy Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vitalii Sekretar.

The parties noted the long-standing cooperation and systematic partnership between the Mission and the Prosecutor’s Office, which is aimed at documenting and investigating crimes committed by Russia in temporarily occupied Crimea.
During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of joint projects, including the media initiative “Svidchy” (Witness), launched in 2025, which aims to collect testimonies about the crimes of the so-called occupying administration on the peninsula.
Special attention was given to cooperation in protecting Crimea’s cultural heritage, documenting illegal archaeological excavations, and addressing the displacement of cultural property. The parties also mentioned the process of preparing and processing information on individuals who facilitate the occupation of the peninsula for the further implementation of Ukraine’s sanctions policy.
The Mission will continue its close cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to bring the perpetrators to justice and restore justice.
