In the framework of the working visit to Kherson region, Petro Poroshenko gave a certificate for the launching of a new stadium “Tauria” to be constructed for the Football Club “Tauria” and Children Football Academy.  “It is not just a certificate, but we are making the commitment that a new stadium is going to be built. The football players of Crimea will feel that Ukraine remembers and takes care of them”, said Petro Poroshenko.

The Head of the State noted that “the Crimean football players, Football Federation of Crimea have been dreaming of stadium to train there and they asked about a launching of new stadium to be constructed. Let the Ukrainian Crimea, which is yet under the occupation, to hear us – we remember about you. We will do all our possible to return Ukraine to Crimea and Crimea to Ukraine”, emphasized Petro Poroshenko.

The Head of the State together with the President of Football Federation of Ukraine also handed the football uniforms to the Football Club “Tauria Simferopol” and to the children, internally displaced from Crimea – members of Children Football Academy. The captain of Football Club “Tauria Simferopol”, in his turn, presented a T-shirt of a Club to Petro Poroshenko. The Head of the State thanked and said: “There is a key words on the T-shirt of the Club “Crimea is Ukraine”.
