On 16 November 2018 to implement the tasks of the Plan of Urgent Measures on Counteraction of Russian Aggression from the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine in Crimea, Protection of the State’s Interests, Citizens of Ukraine and Ukrainian Legal Persons in Crimea for the period of 2018-2019, the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin held a regular meeting of the Mission`s Working group in Novotroitske settlement to resolve current issues relating to the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea.

In the cause of the meeting, the discussion involved:

– equipment of the checkpoints to meet the minimum needs of the citizens such as road pavement and markings, installation of bus-stops, pedestrian ways need to be surfaced and lightened in the checkpoints and along the public roads within the locations of the checkpoint ”Kalanchak” – Kalanchak, checkpoint “Kalanchak”-Vadim-Chaplynka, checkpoint “Chaplynka” – Chaplynka, checkpoint “Chongar” – Novooleksiivka and arrangement of legal passengers transportation;

– the need to prevent the activity of economic entities, controlled from the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea and which have an impact on the districts, adjacent to the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea;

– the legal assessment of natural raw materials to be supplied illegally to the chemical enterprises in the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea, consequences of the activity of these enterprises, prevention of negative ecological effects of their work;

– inter-institutional collaboration between the state and local authorities in order to assist the State Border Guard Service to implement its mandate etc.
