Today on the anniversary of the beginning of the Crimea Tatar People`s illegal deportation the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko pointed out that we would never forget this cynical crime of the Soviet regime, the crime against the whole People, against the whole Mankind. The President of Ukraine stressed that the modern criminals would be punished for the occupation of Crimean peninsula and the Ukrainian Crimea would be free again.
The head of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andry Parubii noted that only with the proclamation of the Independence of Ukraine the Crimean Tatars got the right to live freely and in dignity in the land of their ancestors in Crimea, but nowadays the Russian occupiers had unleashed a relentless campaign of terror and repression against the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians in Crimea. For the fifth year Crimea has been writhing in the newest Russian occupation.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated that the deportation had the disastrous consequences for the Crimean Tatars as only a year after their beginning over 30 thousand People`s representatives died as a result of hunger, diseases and exhaustion.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense of Ukraine said today that Russia in the occupied peninsula tried again to use that rhetoric in order to bring the Crimean Tatars down, their desire for freedom, but the Crimean Tatars People would live in their land, despite all the efforts of the Kremlin tyranny.
