On 7 December 2018 the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine Izet Gdanov held a meeting to discuss the restoration of the activity of the Crimean branch of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

The meeting brought together the Head of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in Kherson region, Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city Sevastopol Igor Klym, representatives of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, State Property Fund of Ukraine in Kherson region, Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Department of Education and Science of Kherson State Administration.

During the meeting, the issues related to the location of the University branch in Kherson were considered, particularly the existing premises for training rooms, hostel including the attraction of the academic staff etc.

As the result, the participants agreed the road map for future actions to open the branch of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

This is an opportunity for the citizens of Ukraine from the temporarily occupied Crimea to get higher education in tax matters and customs in mainland Ukraine.

Furthermore, on 27 November 2018 the Academic Council of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has made a decision on restoration of the activity of the Crimean branch in Kherson.
