On the 20th day of November, 2017 in Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea there was held a meeting with the participation of leadership of the Administration of State Migration Service in Kherson region.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the implementation of pilot project of online mini-line in all regional departments of migration service that are not equipped with online full-grade line.
A corresponding mini-line provides 5 places for submission of documents for the passport of the citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) and 5 place for biometric passport of the citizen of Ukraine for travelling abroad per day.
In particular, among the problematic aspects of this system introduced as a pilot system in the region since November, 2017 which had been determined based on complaints of the citizens from the temporally occupied territory of Ukraine in Crimea, is a necessity to receive SMS text messages about registration to a phone number provided by Ukrainian mobile carriers, but many citizens in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea had no mobile communication caused by occupation. So, there was adopted a decision that screenshot of message about registration from the computer screen would be a sufficient confirmation of registration in online mini-line; its implementation on the places would be under constant control of the Mission. The parties discussed a solution of urgent problem concerning the actual absence of staff in Henichesk and Kalanchak Departments of State Migration Service by the way of sending of representatives of other divisions to these places.
