We invite you to participate in the marathon of writing articles on the Crimean Tatar Wikipedia, which will run from June 20 to July 20, 2024.

The marathon is aimed to highlight the importance of preserving the Crimean Tatar language, especially under occupation. The Crimean Tatar language is not just a means of communication, it is an integral part of cultural heritage, identity, and history. Preserving and developing the language is extremely important for maintaining the cultural diversity and identity of the Crimean Tatar people. 

Participation in the marathon allows everyone to contribute to the preservation of their native language and ensure its development for future generations.

The marathon is open to anyone who knows the Crimean Tatar language. Both beginners and experienced editors are welcome to join. Together we will be able to create new articles, expand existing ones, and contribute to the improvement of the Crimean Tatar Wikipedia.

To support the participants, a webinar is planned, where the organizers will share tips and techniques for writing quality articles. The webinar will take place on June 26 at 19.00.

An offline event will also be organized to provide an opportunity to meet, network, and share experiences. The dates and details of these events will be announced additionally to all registered participants.
