The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine “On the amendments to certain acts of Ukraine, to the Law of Ukraine “On State Border Security”. The implementation of the law instruments will enable to counteract the administrative violations in the districts adjacent to the temporarily occupied territory as well as in the check points to/from temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine in Crimea. The amendments to the Law is done to improve the measures provided by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in counteraction the illegal migration on the State border and other violations in border guard service.
Particularly a range of amendments is done to the Code of Ukraine on administrative offences, and two kinds of administrative penalties are introduced. Moreover the Laws of Ukraine “On Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens and the Legal Regime in the TOT of Ukraine”, “On the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine”, “The Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons”, “On Free Economic Zone “Crimea” and the Peculiarities of Provision of Economic Activity in the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine” are being updated now in order to improve the measures provided by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in counteraction the illegal migration on the State border and other violations in border guard service.
The Mission of the President of Ukraine will do all possible within its mandate to implement the abovementioned law instruments and inform the President of Ukraine about their compliance and implementation in the context of the Russians aggression from Crimea.
