The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the representatives of National Join-Stock Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, State Join-Stock Company “Chornomornaftogaz” participated in a study visit made by the US Department of State’s European Energy Security Advisor, Benjamin L. Schmitt to the districts, adjacent to the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The discussed issues concerned the energy security of Ukraine under the occupation of Crimea and the enhancing activity of the state-aggressor in the Sea of Azov. During his visit the Advisor of the US State’s Department visited school in Nivooleksiivka village, where the distance education for Crimean students is arranged and held a lecture for the members of the International Liberal Summer Camp “Liberty Camp” in Strelkove village.  He met with the activists, volunteers and the authorities of Kherson regional mejlis of Crimean Tatar People.
