With active cooperation, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Prosecutor General’s Office Of Ukraine have suspected three leaders of initiative groups of the “Ukrainian Choice” public movement for participating in organizing and holding an illegal “referendum” in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, under the qualification of “treason” and “encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine”. The Security Service of Ukraine continues the pre-trial investigation.

Representatives of the All-Ukrainian public movement “Ukrainian Choice-People’s Right”, which until 2016 was called “Ukrainian Choice”, contributed to the occupation of the Crimean peninsula.

There are confirmations and conclusions of forensic-linguistic semantic-textual examination of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Science of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Also later, the suspects were awarded Russian medals “For the return of Crimea”.
