On March, 11 the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative Izet Hdanov took part in Talk Show “Bridge”, channel ATR with the theme “Russian “elections” in the occupied Crimea”. Among the participants were the Head with his Deputies of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People, People’s Deputies and public activists on Skype conversations from Crimea. The First Deputy noted that in the territory of the Crimea today, the occupier authorities illegally used Russian legislation, but the responsibility for denying the voting in so-called “Elections” was not provided by it.

Our citizens were a subject to physical and psychological pressure by the occupier authorities to legitimize the attempt of Crimea annexation. Results of the so-called “elections” would not have any legal consequences and would be recognized by neither Ukraine nor the international community. Persons involved into the organization, preparation and conduction of the so-called “elections” would be prosecuted. The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea calls not to participate in the illegal “elections” in the temporarily occupied Crimea and not to cooperate in the development of the system of illegal occupation authorities with its representatives.
