On March 9, the annual action of solidarity with the Ukrainian Crimea took place in Taras Shevchenko Park. During the action, its organizers announced a new initiative – book-crossing in support of Ukrainian citizens in Crimea.

Those who want to support the Ukrainian Crimea – can send Ukrainian-language books by Ukrainian authors or Crimean Tatar books, which will be placed on the Ukrainian checkpoints with the temporarily occupied Crimea. Crimeans crossing the administrative border will be able to read literature that is almost impossible to find on the occupied peninsula.
