On March, 23 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Boris Babyn participated in the ceremonies in Kherson to mark the 18th anniversary of establishment of Azov-Black Sea Regional Administration of the State Guard Service of Ukraine.
In 2000 in spring the Crimean direction of State Guard Service of Ukraine was established using the military resources of the Southern direction and in 2002 it was renamed into Azov-Black Sea in Symferopol and in 2003 – into Azov-Black Sea Regional Administration. After the occupation of Crimea the Regional Administration was dislocated to provide its service in Kherson, and withdrawal the Administration from Crimea was in February – March of 2014 together with the ship and boats staff.

On the occasion of the anniversary for honest and diligent service the officers of Azov-Black Sea Regional Administration were awarded by Honorary Diplomas, Diplomas and Gratitudes of the Mission. Addressing to the officers of the Regional Administration Borys Babin said that temporarily withdrawal of the Administration from the occupied Crimea would be completed by the redeployment to former places of service and thanked the guard officers for courageous defending the administrative boundary line with the occupied territories and the State boarder of Ukraine with the responsibility of the Administration.
