On August 22, 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the officials of the Mission, the deputies of the local councils, members of the ATO organization of Genichesk district and Crimea, civil activists, journalists, officials of law enforcement bodies took part in the event, dedicated to the Day of the National Flag in Ukraine and to the Independence Day of Ukraine, held in the territory of the check-point “Chongar”.
The persons, coming from the temporarily occupied Crimea and those who must come back to the occupied peninsula were handed out by the flyers on instructions how to act if their rights are violated by the occupying authorities. The activists explained the procedure in the case if their rights were violated by the occupiers. The Permanent Representative one more stressed on negative state of affairs in the territory adjacent to the check-points, particularly the absence of legal passengers transportation while hundreds of people have to use illegal transport services.
