The announcement on the launch of the procedure was published on the platform “Prozoro” in accordance with the current legislation. The objective of the tender is to meet the cultural and information needs of the residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as adjacent territories.

The deadline for tender bids is May 8th, 2021. The launch of the tender auction is May 11th, 2021. Announced cost is UAH 4 million (this cost may be reduced within the bidding).

“Today we have launched the procedure for the first, but certainly not least tender for TV and radio companies that broadcast in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, inter alia on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. I would like to take this opportunity to invite all those present to participate,” said The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov.

“Currently, there were UAH 50 million allocated to support broadcasting on both the Crimean Peninsula and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which the Ministry will allocate to support broadcasters exclusively through the procedure of public procurement. Everyone understands that this is not enough. That is why I have repeatedly appealed to people’s deputies to increase support for broadcasters in vulnerable territories to UAH 100 million during the next revision of the budget for 2021. This allows us not to lose those who are already on the edge,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.
