National flags have always been symbols of the unity of nations and peoples, under which from generation to generation they fought for their land, their country, their people, their rights…

The Crimean Tatar flag became not only the embodiment of the identity of the people, it is a symbol of the long struggle of the Crimean Tatars for their Motherland. 

Today, the national flag has become a symbol of the indomitable spirit of the indigenous people of Ukraine. The Crimean Tatar flag reminds the whole world of the civilized, nonviolent resistance of the Crimean Tatars to external aggression and discrimination. The vitality and the original dream of the people for a peaceful and happy future.

Today, when the original Motherland of the Crimean Tatars is temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, the Crimean Tatar flag is again not only a symbol of the nation, but also a symbol of resistance to pressure, repression, persecution and condemnation by the occupying authorities.

We are convinced that in the near future the Crimean Tatar flag next to the State Flag of Ukraine will fly over the Ukrainian Crimea.
