The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea together with the Human Rights organization CrimeaSOS and Ukrainian Helsinki Group have made a presentation of chat bot CrimeaIsUAbot  (t.me/CrimeaIsUaBot) in Telegram. The chat bot created to support citizens, residing in the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. With this tool they can get typical answers to frequently asked questions

The chat bot CrimeaIsUAbot makes it possible to get online consultation 24/7 regarding issuing ID cards , birth and death certificates, including updated information on crossing the checkpoints. In addition, samples of documents to be filled in are available there. People can queue up via chat bot. 

The chat bot posted on the web sites of special state bodies and non-governmental organizations. The list of relevant issues will be continuously updated 

We would like to stress that despite the lack of access to the territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. It is important to maintain communication with Ukrainian citizens, residing in the occupied territories. It is one of the priorities of the Mission’s team.

The Mission’s team is actively working on these issues. Among the instruments to maintain ties and communication with our citizens is providing a different spectrum of administrative, social and other services.

According to the Mission: “the State should create tools that could bring administrative and other services as close as possible to the Crimean population. It is not only that it is now possible to visit the Administrative Seevice Centers directly at the administrative border. We are working on the implementation of online services”. 

Some services and consultations can already be made available in part electronically, and the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the AR of  Crimea, the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the presidential Office  are working together to that end.

An electronic queue for submission of documents for obtaining a biometric passport or ID card of a citizen of Ukraine is already in operation, and a declaration by a family doctor is issued. In parallel, the online filing of marriage registration documents, online notaries, travel documents to the temporarily occupied territory for foreigners and civil status documents continues, including births in the temporarily occupied territories etc. Under the conditions of artificial restrictions imposed by the occupation administrations, work is also continuing on the development of online documentation for higher education institutions for children from the occupied territories.
