In May 2021 the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine added the names of three citizens of the Russian Federation and two citizens of Poland to the List of persons, who pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine. The above-mentioned citizens were involved into production of war drama “The Sky” telling about Russian militaries in Syria, including the so-called “International Music Fest” – “The Way to Yalta.

The Security Service of Ukraine, in its turn, prohibited those foreigners from entering the territory of Ukraine for three years. The relevant decisions of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and Security Service of Ukraine have become a real response to the Mission’s appeal.

Mission continues to monitor the illegal activity in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol within the Strategy on de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol including tasks, set by the President of Ukraine. It also takes measures for the proper response to the so-called ‘people’s diplomacy”, “cultural propaganda” and other violations of the law of Ukraine by the occupying administration in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
