Bilateral release of the imprisoned persons took place twice over the past six months and we must continue for a certain purpose to exchange of prisoners on formula “all for all”, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted.
“We cannot stop until more than 200 of Ukrainians are being held in inhuman conditions in the temporarily ungoverned territories of Donbas. And about 100 of Ukrainians and Crimean Tartars are imprisoned in Crimea and the Russian Federation”, the Head of the State said in his statement at the Munich Security Conference.
Volodymyr Zelensky also reminded that as the result of the Normandy Format Talks it was reached the agreement to provide the efficient activity of international organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross.
“Today, the ICRC are involved into search of the missing persons, unfortunately there are a lot of them too during these six years. And the issue of access of the ICRC to the imprisoned persons remains open. But there is every reason to expect a positive solution”, the President noted.
