Today, Darya Oleksndrivna has been appointed the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Darya Svyrydova is a famous human rights defender, top professional on Crimean issues. Since 2008, she was engaged in human rights education in Yalta (Autonomous Republic of Crimea) and all over the peninsula. In 2012, she began working as Coordinator of Educational programs for lawyers and advocates of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU). The occupation of the Crimean peninsula made her leave for Kyiv where she continued her human rights activity.
We appreciate Darya’s decision to contribute to the Mission’s activity as well as we glad to have more and more such experienced and enterprising people, ready to struggle for returning of Crimea and promote the human rights protection.
