On 19 September 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the Chief Consultant of the Department of International Connections of the Mission Valeria Pakhomova met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Swiss Confederation in Ukraine Mr. Guillaume Scheurer and his Deputy Mr. Simon Pidoux
The issue of visiting the temporarily occupied Crimea by Swiss citizens as well as the possible visit of political independent experts to the territory of environmental disaster in the North of Crimea was discussed. Borys Babin told about the activity of Crimean Football Union funded within the  UEFA Program Hat Trick, headquartered in Simferopol. The violation of humanitarian law by the Russian occupying authorities in Crimea and current activity of the Office of International Committee of the Red Cross in Simferopol were emphasized apart. As the result of the meeting the sides agreed their further cooperation.
