On March 15, 2018 the Permanent Representative of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the chief consultant of the Mission met with the representatives of the Embassy of Great Britain in Ukraine. During the meeting the sides discussed the efficiency of administrative services on education and medicine, certification of the Crimean inhabitants and development of the displaced Higher Educational Institutions from Crimea.
Borys Babin told the Britain diplomats about the Mission’s activity on establishment and equipment of the Administrative Service Centers in the districts of Kherson region situated close to Crimea. It was discussed the prospects of realization of the Action Plan for Ukraine for 2018-2021, approved by the Council of Europe on February, 21 with the addition of the issue of Human Rights Protection of IDPs from the Crimea within a new project of the Council of Europe.
The sides discussed the action of the Mission in the context of proposed legislative changes in Human Rights protection of the inhabitants of the temporarily occupied Crimea. It was thanked to British diplomats for the Embassy’s support to the range of the experts’ investigations projects on Crimea and considerable support of the civil activists in Crimea. The framework of future cooperation was determined on the results of the meeting.
