On 28 September 2018 the Permanent Representative of President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Yan Pieklo, with the Deputy Head of the Mission, the Head of the Political and Economic Department Michael Gergen and with the First Secretary Danuta Valetska.

During the meeting, the facts of numerous violations of the rules of International Humanitarian Law and the efficient implementation of sanction policy were discussed. Particularly, the accent has been made on the need of improvement of diplomatic interaction among the countries. As the result, the sides reached the agreement on further collaboration.
