In July 13, 2018 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the Chief Consultant of the Mission`s Department of International Connections Valeria Pakhomova met with diplomats of the Political Department of the US Embassy in Kyiv, Mr Anton Сooper and Ms Brian Hight.Boris Babin informed diplomats on the Mission’s achievements in the improvement of the efficiency of administrative services providing to the Ukrainian citizens, residing in Crimea and their Constitutional Rights protection. The activity of the Mission on the establishment and equipment of the Administrative Service Centers in the villages and towns of Kherson region, adjacent to Crimea was discussed. The attention paid to the establishment of the legal automobile connection between the localities of Kherson regions and the ABL checkpoints.

The amendments to the legislation on free secondary legal assistance, the simplified procedure of marriage registration for the citizens of Ukraine, residing in the temporarily occupied territory were also discussed in the cause of the meeting.

Borys Babin emphasized the main points of the adopted Plan of Urgent Measures on Counteracting the Russia’s Aggression from the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine in Crimea, on Defense of the Interests of the State, of Citizens of Ukraine and of Ukrainian Legal Persons in Crimea for 2018-2019.

The meeting resulted in the further engagement of the USA Embassy in the implementation of Plan of the urgent measures.
