On April, 6 the First Deputy of the Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC met with the representatives of the civic organization “The Tenth of April” of the cities Kherson and Odessa Elvira Zeytullaeva, Anna Naydenova, Artem Chervony, who introduced the main activity of their organization aimed to provide free juridical aid to IDPs, informational support of IDPs, their civil non-governmental unities, information about the current support programs (social, educational, humanitarian etc.) within the project “Free legal Aid to IDPs and empowerment of communities in the South of Ukraine” supported by the UNHCR. Moreover the organization widely cooperates with the different domestic and international organizations, initiative groups dealing with the solving of IDPs’ problems and facilitates the including the appropriate issues into various social and cultural development programs.
Izet Gdanov informed the guests about the Mission’s Mandate and emphasized the current problems of IDPs’ and the Ukrainian citizens of Crimea the decision of which is necessary to be coordinated by the Mission today. He pointed out that the proposals to the coherent drafts of the laws of Ukraine had been sent by Mission to the President of Ukraine to submit it to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The proposals concerned the optimization of administrative services and free legal aid obtaining by the residents of the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea, particularly the simplifying the procedure of marriage registration and the proof of death in the TOT of Ukraine in Crimea.
The First Deputy told about the Mission’s steps done to coordinate the efforts of the state governmental and self-governmental bodies on establishing the Administrative Services Centers in the districts adjacent to the TOT of Ukraine and the increasing the capacity of the State Enterprise “Document’ in Kherson. The working meetings of the authorities of the Mission with the representatives of the state executive bodies in the different regions of Ukraine are holding to develop the mechanisms of cooperation and coordination of the mutual efforts in decision the IDPs’ challenges concerning the temporarily housing, their integration into the social and cultural life of the territorial communities including the entrance the Higher Educational Establishments in preferential terms, employment etc.
The working meeting resulted the agreement on further close cooperation and interaction in decision the problems of the IDPs and the citizens residing in Crimea, in particular in resolving extraordinary issues required case-by-case approach.
