On March, 28 the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Borys Babin and the Chief Consultant of the Department of International Connections Valeria Pakhomova met with Hug Mingarelli, the Head and the officials of the Mission UN in Ukraine.
In the cause of the meeting the range of humanitarian issues were discussed, in particular the provision the citizens of Ukraine who residing or replacing from Crimea with the administrative services, implementation of the educational programmes for the IDPs.
Borys Babin told about the Mission’s attempts in decision the issues of equipment of Administrative Service Centers in the districts of Kherson regions situated close to Crimea, provision the IDPs from Crimea with the appropriate housing accommodation. It was stressed on the necessity to develop the efficient educational process for the Crimean residents in the Taurian National University named after Vernadsky and Higher Educational Establishments in Kherson, the aspects of the future entrance campaign informing for Crimean residents. The attention was paid on the minimum equipment to be done at the check points “Chongar” and “Kalanchak”. The legislative prospects of Indigenous Crimean Tatar People’s Rights compliance within an Independent Ukraine. The Mission to the European Union was thanked for the projects support concerning the creation of household conditions for IDPs from Crimea in the hostels in Kherson and other regions.
