On April,10 the First Deputy of the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in ARC Izet Gdanov together with the Chief Consultants of the Departments of the International Connections and Legal Analysis met with the Head and the Deputy Head of the State Agency of Fisheries of Ukraine. In the cause of the meeting the discussed issues were the illegal usage of the aquatic biological resources in the Azov Sea and the Syvash lake waters adjacent to Crimea, the activity of fishing vessels fishing in the Azov and Black Seas, ocean-going vessels flying the Ukrainian Flag which had been registered in the Sevastopol Sea Port before the annexation. The particularly attention was paid to the Ukrainian fishing vessel “Nord” detained in the Azov Sea, which flew the flag of RF illegally and carried out illegal fishing from the temporarily occupied Crimea. The meeting resulted in agreed cooperation of both sides to carry out their responsibilities within the mandates.
