Treacherously, without declaring war and violating all fundamental precepts of international law, international agreements, key rules of mutual coexisting of civilized nations, using the tragic events of Euromaidan and the presence of own military bases on the territory of Ukraine the state-aggressor took under its military control the Crimean peninsula.
Aggression against Ukraine in 2014 did not become the only international crime committed by the ideologists and practitioners of Russia’s imperialism. But for the first time after the tragic events of the Second World War an attempt of the annexion of territory of European state was made.
“Blinding light of the success” of Russia’s militarization in Crimea peculiar to supporters of imperial and soviet revanchism of our East neighbor had the tragic consequences. Bloody ‘adventure‘ of bandit – occupier troops in Donbas and numerous criminal acts against Humanity during the Russia’s intervention in Syria were a direct outcome of capture of Crimea and increase of battlegrounds of undeclared war against all civilized world.
From the first days the aggressor’s behavior on the Crimean territory was accompanied by killings, tortures and robberies of national wealth of Ukrainian state, its people, and other victims of force recruitment to own military forces, elimination of Ukrainian and Crimean Tatars Culture, independent mass media and human rights activists.
Among the most active collaborators of the occupier authorities in these international crimes, elimination of democracy and violation of human rights in Crimea has become first of all the citizens of Ukraine with corruption and criminal background, the followers of regime overthrown by the Revolution of Dignity.
From the first days of Russia’s aggression the Ukrainian state has made the deoccupation of Crimea as a priority goal of own development. A special governance and law enforcement bodies of state power of Ukraine in Crimea were reestablished, the Mission was corresponded with a new Mandate. Now the Emergency Action Plan of deoccupation of Crimea is being developed and in the nearest future the Working Group will be established to concentrate all state authorities’ efforts on the process of deoccupation of the peninsula.
The reference should be made to the important role of all states of the world supporting the efforts of Ukraine to uphold the International Law and provide our country with all possible support under inter-state armed conflict. It is worth noting the decisive steps of the UNO, the Council of Europe, the OSCE in Europe in conviction of Russia’s criminal practices in Crimea.
We would like to express particular gratitude to military and volunteers and all those who gave their life and health for the sake of Russia’s aggression to be stopped.
The deoccupation processes of Crimea have become not only a test for the efficiency of public governmental system but a marker of political maturity of our society. An effective response to the aggressor’s activity is far away from populism and bright slogans. The key allies of aggressor today are corruptive and incompetent individual officials.
We are confident that consolidation of all governmental bodies and constructive efforts of Ukrainian society could ensure our victory over the Russia’s imperialism.
